Brian Hall, DMD
Born and raised in Athens, Dr. Brian Hall attended the University of Georgia and has been a lifelong Bulldog fan. In 1993, Dr. Hall received his dental degree (D.M.D) from the Medical College of Georgia.
Dr. Hall joined his father, Dr. James D. Hall, in his dental practice in 1993 and practiced with him until his father’s retirement. The elder Dr. Hall mentored his son in the dental field, setting a fantastic standard for dental excellence and ethical practice management. He also made it possible for the younger Dr. Hall to attend the L. D. Pankey Institute for six straight years so that his son could develop a full mastery of the skills necessary for exceptional dentistry.
Dr. Hall has been happily married to his wonderful wife Jill for over 20 years. They have six children, three of whom are married. Their second son Alec joined his father in the family practice in June. Their eldest son Matthew recently graduated from law school at UGA. The third-born, Charlie, is working at UGA. Reece is currently attending UGA and is on track to become another dentist for Hall dental. Natalie Kate is currently in college hoping to become a hygienist.
The Hall family attends Athens Church where they are developing a growing relationship with Jesus Christ. Dr. Hall has also been a member of Athens Rotary Club for over many years and has a heart for giving back to his community.
Dr. Hall has been very active in local, regional, and state dental societies, participating in legislative activities that protect dentistry and keep Georgia’s patients receiving the best and safest care possible. Dr. Hall is also a member of two international dental honor societies, the Pierre Fauchard Academy and the International College of Dentists.

Alec Hall, DMD
Dr. Alec Hall was born and raised in Athens, GA where he graduated the University of Georgia with degrees in Microbiology and Biology. In 2020, Dr. Alec Hall received his dental degree (D.M.D) from the Dental College of Georgia in Augusta.
Dr. Alec joined his father Dr. Brian Hall in 2020 and is excited to help carry on the family legacy. Dr. Alec has brought several new innovations to the practice in the fields of endodontics and oral surgery.
Dr. Alec has a hard time choosing his favorite part about his job, but he loves transforming smiles. Doing minimally invasive treatment to make a smile beautiful is a lot of fun!

Dr. Alec is a follower of Jesus Christ and currently attends Athens Church with his family. Dr. Alec is the editor for the Eastern District Dental Society, a member of the GDA, Clarke County Dental Society, and is volunteering at the Mercy Healthcare Center every month, which provides affordable dental care to the underserved in the Athens area.
Dr. Alec has been married to his wife, Anna, for over ten years. They have a son, Levi James, and three daughters, Katherine Abigail, Riley Joy, and Skylar Adalie.
Ashmita Shah, DMD
Dr. Ashmita Shah grew up in Greenville, SC and then attended the University of Georgia where she graduated in 2002 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology. She then pursued her dental degree at the Medical University of South Carolina and graduated in 2006.
Professionally, Dr. Shah is a member of the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, Georgia Dental Association, and Clarke County Dental Society. In the community, she is an active member of the Indian Association of Greater Athens and volunteers with different organizations to benefit many causes.
Dr. Shah is married to Dr. Manish Shah, a local radiologist and together they have two children, Ronak and Karina. When she isn’t working or volunteering in the community, Ashmita enjoys traveling, college football, reading, and spending time at the beach with her family.
