Insurance

Accepted Insurance

We accept all insurance plans that allow payments to out-of-network providers. We are not currently in network with any insurance companies. We recommend checking with your insurance company to confirm they are able to pay out-of-network providers.

Many times, insurance is a confusing process. We don’t want you to be hit with “surprise bills.” Please let us know any concerns you may have and read below for more information!

We Are Here To Help!

We are a fee-for-service office, so our patients pay upfront at the time of the visit, and then we submit the insurance claims for you. After we submit the claim, the insurance company will reimburse you directly for however much they cover on the treatment you’ve received. Our dedicated Insurance Coordinators work diligently to make sure you’re reimbursed for as much as possible under your specific plan.

As with many medical providers, our fees may exceed the amount that insurance carriers pay. Every dental insurance plan has different stipulations regarding access to care and payment for services rendered. Within the same insurance company, benefits may differ depending upon what type of contract employers negotiate with that carrier on an employee’s behalf.

A plan may include specific inclusions and exclusions that we will not know of in advance. Therefore, it is important for the patient to understand his/her dental benefits. Benefits discussed with the patient are only estimates. If a patient’s insurance carrier pays below the estimated amount, the patient will be responsible for any remaining balance. Read on for some advice for ensuring that you can take good care of your oral health and keep dental costs in check:

Prioritizing Dental Needs vs. Your Coverage

Don’t hesitate to talk to your dentist about financial concerns. If you have limited insurance coverage and don’t want to go too far above that coverage ceiling, your dentist can prioritize your dental work so that it fits your budget and your dental coverage. If you’ve got a limit per year, your dentist can schedule your needs based on that limit and could suggest the most cost-effective treatments possible. For example, if you want smile improvements but can’t afford porcelain veneers, your dentist might suggest tooth bonding or Invisalign.

Talk to Your Dental Insurance Company

Before having extensive work done, consider approaching your insurance company with your quote for dental work to find out exactly how much will be covered. There may be areas you’re not sure of and your insurance company can confirm how much they will cover. This way, you won’t be left with any unpleasant surprises.
